Kendall D. Isaac previously was an adjunct professor at Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, where he taught a general practice/law practice management course. Prior to teaching, Isaac owned The Isaac Firm LLC, a law practice that concentrated on employment law and mediation matters and also served as a new-lawyer incubation center that trained new lawyers on how to start and build their own practice. Isaac has also worked for Reminger LPA, a large regional law firm with offices in Ohio and Kentucky, where his practice focused on employment law and workers' compensation defense. Before his legal career, he held employee relations and human resource management roles for Fortune 500 companies Abbott Laboratories and Bisys/Citigroup. He graduated from The Ohio State University with his bachelor's in rhetorical communications and graduated Order of the Curia from Capital University Law School with his law degree and a concentration in labor and employment law. His primary research interests involve the advancement of mediation theory and practice, especially in the realm of workplace disputes, and trends relative to the growth and development of "lawyerpreneurs."
