Wally Hauck, PhD has a cure for the "deadly disease" known as the typical performance appraisal. Wally holds a doctorate in organizational leadership from Warren National University, a Master of Business Administration in finance from Iona College, and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania. Wally is a Certified Speaking Professional or CSP. For 16 years his consulting firm, Optimum Leadership, has consulted with dozens of organizations and coached hundreds of individuals in improving leadership skills, employee engagement, and performance. Wally is a professor of Organizational Change and Development at the University of New Haven in Connecticut

David W. Miller is a Senior Consultant for Avatar HR Solutions and specializes in talent management, data analysis, and communication engagements. He is in charge of administering surveys, facilitating employee feedback sessions, and providing senior leadership with results-oriented advisory services. In his time at Avatar HR Solutions, David has facilitated roughly 300 employee feedback and training sessions, as well as nearly 100 action-planning sessions. David has presented on topics such as eliciting and interpreting behaviors, emotional intelligence, and motivating the multigenerational workforce.

 

Dr. van Dongen is a business savvy global executive, who has broad experience in HR ranging from local responsibility up to Global experience within FMCG, IT Consumer goods, manufacturing and renewable energy environment. He also operated as managing director, including P&L responsibility for his own startup. In his current role in HR he is responsible for the HR strategic setup, design and implementation for the Global Growth Projects, which Cristal is undertaking. Cristal is a Saudi headquartered Global chemicals company focuses at titanium dioxide and other related  titanium chemicals. He is based out of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with his family. Mark holds a Master degree in Psychology, a PhD in management sciences and is certified as GPHR and as a FCIPD.

Prior to working at Children's, Matt helped reshape talent acquisition at Ericsson, the world's leading provider of communications technology and services, operating in 180 countries and employing more than 100,000 people. In his five years with Ericsson, Matt lived in both Australia and Singapore. He drove innovation in the employer branding, sourcing and recruitment strategy for Ericsson regionally and globally.

He has past experience as a senior strategy consultant with a U.S. recruitment communications firm, helping leading organizations implement innovative employer branding and digital strategies to attract top talent. Matt is a graduate of The Florida State University in the USA. He is an author and featured industry speaker on best practices in Talent Management at international HR events.

Don Delves has over 20 years of consulting experience. In 2002, he founded The Delves Group, a Chicago-based consultancy dedicated to working with boards, compensation committees, senior executive teams, and sales forces to improve their effectiveness and the way they are organized, directed, and rewarded. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and recently served as president of the Chicago Compensation Association.

Prior to founding The Delves Group, Delves was the Managing Director of the Chicago office of iQuantic, a Senior Consultant at Sibson and Company, and an executive compensation consultant with Towers Perrin. He has also served as a manager in personal financial planning and taxation with Arthur Andersen & Co., and as a financial consultant for Harris Bank. Delves is a recognized expert on corporate governance, executive and sales force compensation, incentive design, performance measurement and value creation, and writes and speaks regularly on these subjects.

Elizabeth Moore is the Vice President of Development of Holmes Corporation and manager of the SHRM Learning System. She has over 25 years of combined Product Management, Project Management, and training and development experience.  She has managed the design and development of SHRM certification and education courses for over 10 years, working directly with HR experts, employers, educational partners, instructors and students from around the globe. Mike Aitken has worked at SHRM since 2003 and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs. Prior to joining SHRM, he served for 14 years as associate director for Governmental and External Relations at the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). Previously, Aitken worked on state public policy issues at Bonner & Associates, a public affairs firm in Washington, DC. Currently, he is based in Alexandria, VA.
