Angela Shaw is an accomplished HR professional. She grew her career from an administrative employee leadership most recently serving as Vice President of HR in real estate. She has a BS degree in Business with a minor in Human Resources. She is certified as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional. Angela has a love of HR but is specifically devoted to diversity, inclusion, and workforce readiness. Angela views volunteer leadership as a pathway for her passion as a servant leader to the HR community. She has steadily been involved with SHRM chapters since 2011 including 2019 President of the Austin Human Resource Management Association and currently Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director for TXSHRM. She is currently concentrating on teaching HR and consulting. She also serves on the board of two other organizations PelotonU and the YWCA of Greater Austin.

Dr. Rita Fields is the dual CEO of both 313 Industries, Inc. and Copper Phoenix Consulting, LLC. She serves as the Chief Talent & Strategy Officer for Lighthouse Michigan. She is also a faculty member at the University of Michigan (Flint) school of management. Dr. Fields is a member of the EDA University Center for Regional Economic Innovation.
(REI) at the MSU Center for Community and Economic Development. Dr. Fields is a board member of Creating Opportunities To Succeed (COTS), Metropolitan Detroit Black Business Alliance (MDBBA), Black Business Association of Macomb (BBAoM), and is a member of the board of trustees at Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Fields was selected to be a presenter at TEDxDetroit in 2015. In 2016 she was honored with a Women’s History Month Careers Mastered Leadership in Action Award. In 2017 she was a featured speaker at the Detroit Policy Conference. In 2018, she was selected to be an Innovation Fellow for the Center for Regional Economic Innovation and to serve as a reviewer for the 2018 Robert Woods Johnson Culture of Health Leaders Fellowship. In 2019, she was named Outstanding Lecturer in the School of Management at the University of Michigan (Flint). In 2020, she was named the inaugural Executive in Residence for the Community Impact Incubator based in Detroit, Michigan.
She is a sought-after speaker for her and her transparent commitment to sharing her story of struggle and resilience. In 2022, she was named an inaugural member of the national Culture of Health Leadership Institute for Racial Healing (CoHLI) cohort. Ray is currently the Director of Human Resources for Springpoint Senior Living. Prior to joining Springpoint, Ray served as the Senior Human Resources Generalist at Five Guys Enterprises. He has held a variety of Human Resources and management roles in different industries throughout his career including Apple, Flextronics, and SprintNextel. He also has experience in the startup world having been recruited to work on the creation of Enhanced Wireless. After a series of pivotal experiences as a manager and district manager in employee development, engagement, and retention, he decided to focus his career in Human Resources. Since 2014, Ray has been teaching a series of SHRM prep and continuing education courses at PACE University and recently joined the adjunct faculty at William Paterson University. He has also worked as a content reviewer in HR for Western Governor's University, and served as a HR consultant for several corporations.
Ray is currently working on his Doctorate of Business Administration with an anticipated completion date of December 2019. Ray has an MBA with concentration in Human Resources Management, is SHRM-SCP certified, holds his SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential, and a BA in History with a minor in African, African American, Caribbean Studies. He is a certified practitioner of "MBTI®️Step I™️and Step II™️" and is a member of Board of Directors of the Picatinny Federal Credit Union and Rock Ridge Community Club.

Fred Oswald is a Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences, Herbert S. Autrey Chair of Social Sciences at Rice University, with his PhD in industrial-organizational psychology from the University of Minnesota. His current research investigates the nature and use of AI and machine learning within employment testing and talent management settings. He currently is the Chair of the National Academies Board on Human-Systems Integration (BOHSI, 2020-present) and Member of the National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee (NAIAC, 2022-present), which advises the President and Secretary of Commerce.
