Annie created the Michigan International Talent Solutions (MITS) program, which launched in 2015 as the first state-level employment program for internationally trained professionals through the Office of Global Michigan at the State of Michigan. Previously, Annie launched Upwardly Global’s Michigan office, providing job search programming to immigrants and refugees across Michigan. She holds an MA in Politics, and Ethnic Conflict from Queens University in Belfast, U.K., and a BA in Peace and Global Studies from Earlham College in Richmond, IN.
