Mark S. Fogel is currently a Director for Clifton Larson Allen’s National HR consulting practice. He is a former CHRO for Leviton, Marcum, and Success Academy Charter Schools, Mark has been the recipient of several national awards including SHRM’s Human Capital Leader of the Year in 2007, SHRM’s Innovation in a Down Economy in 2009, and HR Executive Magazine’s Honor Role in 2010. He has also been recognized as a 50 around 50 award recipient by Long Island Business News. Mark is also a part-time educator employed as a Senior Adjunct Professor of distinction at Adelphi University in their MBA program. Additionally, he facilitates the SHRM SCP/CP prep class for HR Jetpack. Mark has presented over two dozen times at SHRM and World at Work national, regional, and local conferences on a broad range of HR topics. Joseph (“Joe”) Beachboard is a nationally recognized employment lawyer who also closely tracks the most important developments at the U.S. Supreme Court impacting the business community. He has more than 30 years of experience representing management in a wide variety of employment and labor matters in perhaps the most challenging state in the nation for employers – California.  Mr. Beachboard speaks regularly before human resource and employer groups on cutting edge employment law topics.  He is a member of SHRM and has been an annual presenter at both the SHRM Annual Conference and the Employment Law and Compliance Conference for two decades.  Mr. Beachboard is frequently quoted in such leading publications as HR Magazine, National Law Journal, Los Angeles Times, NY Times, HR Executive and Workforce, and has been published in dozens of legal and business journals. Throughout his career in Los Angeles, Mr. Beachboard has represented dozens of studios and entertainment properties.  He cites his most interesting project as working with the cast and crew of the television show The Office, from its pilot through the final season.

Karin Goettsch, Ph.D., CPLP, manages key global talent management initiatives at The Mosaic Company, a Fortune 500 organization. She has managed learning functions and designed and facilitated programs for global companies in a variety of industries. Karin also serves as contracted faculty of practice in HR Management at Concordia University College of Business and the University of Minnesota. As a published researcher and consultant, she has been invited to present the practical applications of her award-winning research on global virtual team communication and other topics at many international conferences including SHRM, ATD, ABC and GABC.

Shayna Balch is a partner in both the Phoenix and Los Angeles offices. She represents employers in employment and labor litigation matters before federal and state courts as well as before administrative agencies. She handles matters across all facets of labor and employment law including employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, preventive counseling, employee training, personnel policies, and employment agreements. Shayna has represented clients before trial and appellate courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Arizona Civil Rights Division, and United States Department of Justice Office of Special Counsel (OSC).

Lynn C. Outwater is a Shareholder in the Pittsburgh office of Jackson Lewis P.C.  The firm’s over 700 lawyers limit their practice exclusively to labor, employment, immigration and benefits law on behalf of management.  She received her undergraduate degree from Fordham University and obtained a Juris Doctorate degree from Albany Law School and holds a Master of Laws (in Labor Law) from New York University School of Law.  Ms. Outwater is a current member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and an inactive member of the New York Bar Association.  Ms. Outwater has been designated as a “Super Lawyer” in the Labor and Employment Law Practice Area from 2004 through 2013 editions of “Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.”  Ms. Outwater was also selected by her peers for inclusion in “The Best Lawyers in America” from 2009 through 2014 in the field of labor and employment law.
