With 25+ years of experience and several prestigious awards, such as the 2021 OnCon HR Professional of the Year Award, Erika Lance is truly a distinguished leader in the Human Resources field. Currently, Erika is the Chief Human Resources Officer at KnowBe4, the world’s largest integrated platform for security awareness training and simulated phishing. Here, she ensures KnowBe4 continues to run properly while maintaining a unique and fun company culture. Under her leadership, the People Operations team has grown from just 10 team members to over 50 team members in 11 countries across 6 continents. Erika is most well known for her radical transparency and her people-centric approach to Human Resources.

Matthew joined AutoZone Inc. in September of 2014 as the Director of Benefits, Customer Satisfaction.  Subsequently, he is now Vice President, Benefits, Compensation, and HR Systems Customer Satisfaction and is primarily responsible for strategically driving a culture of wellbeing through healthcare consumerism, financial wellness, and productivity while ensuring the right HR systems and processes are in place to drive the business forward. Harmon is responsible for a team of nearly 30 HR professional’s enabling strategy, design, delivery, systems, reporting, and vendor management coast to coast in all states with some global components. 

Having nearly 20 years of experience in benefits and total rewards Harmon is extremely involved in the benefits community including current appointments as the Chair of the Benefits Council for World at Work, the Client Advisory Council for CVS Health, and the IBI Board of Directors. 

His prior experience includes over 5 years at J.C. Penney Co. where in recognition of his outstanding work, he was awarded Business Insurance Magazine’s 2013 Benefits Manager of the Year and received JCPenney’s Chairman’s Award of Excellence in 2009.   Before JCPenney, Harmon spent nearly 11 years as a benefits practitioner at Hewitt Associates, now Aon Hewitt, in many and varied benefits administration and consultative roles working with small to jumbo clients.  Matthew’s unique, high energy and consumer focused approach to benefits leads organizations through cross functional teams to creating better benefits and business results.

Although originally from Tennessee, Harmon earned undergraduate degrees in Finance and Business Management from the University of Florida where he graduated with Honors.

Giselle is the Practice Lead in Optimus SBR’s Learning & Development Group with over 25 years experience as a sought after resource to industry leaders across the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors dedicated to building strategies and programs that help clients target, motivate and engage employees in order to increase performance and productivity.

Giselle has devoted more than 20 years to researching the impact that generational differences have on organizational performance, creating solutions and programs in four areas – leadership, high performance teams, early career talent, and reinforcement & sustainment of learning. Giselle has co-authored two books and completed her Master of Arts Degree in Communications Studies at the University of Windsor.

She is Chair of the Board at The Institute for Performance and Learning (I4PL), co-chair of the Cross Academy Association and Advisory Council member at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Greg Hare has been an employment lawyer at Ogletree Deakins his entire career, since 1991. He assists companies with human resources and employment-related litigation matters, including wrongful termination claims, sexual harassment, employment discrimination, employment contracts, trade secrets, and non-compete agreements. He advises clients on a wide range of human resources topics, such as drug testing, employee discipline and discharge, severance planning, independent contractor classifications, wage payment, family and medical leave, disability law, military leave, joint employment issues, affirmative action, and reductions in force.
