Identifying The X Factor in Companies That Achieve DEI Goals
W203-205
In-Person Friday 09/10/2021 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM   Add to calendar
Competencies: Leadership (Behavioral), Workplace (Technical)
Workplace Application:
Attendees with learn the attributes that companies that successfully achieve DEI goals possess and the approach they take for meeting them.

The COVID-19 pandemic and major social movements like #BLM and #MeToo have played a transformative role in driving conversations and action around diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of life. For businesses, this conversation has reached every organizational level and is - rightfully so - a permanent item on every board’s agenda. While organizations commit to correcting imbalances in the workplace, they’re often met with significant challenges. What’s missing is the critical connection point between monitoring DEI metrics and, in turn, using that data to improve the effectiveness of DEI programs in creating lasting, meaningful change.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn attributes of organizations that effectively manage and track DEI initiatives and meet DEI objectives.
  • Discuss where those responsible for Human Capital Management believe the gaps in the ability to meet DEI commitments occur.
  • Gain an understanding of how forward-looking companies are using education, data, and analytics to turn ideas into measurable objectives.
