This session will help you unlock your inner consultant and move beyond the “order-taker” zone into the realm of strategic, trusted advisor (yes, people will actually want your advice!). We’ll ditch the tech jargon and get real about skills that make you the secret weapon for hiring managers: mastering consultative communication, flexing that business know-how, and forging strong partnerships. Sure, there will be tools and technologies that you may use—but the real killer-app is YOU. You’ll leave with the tools to drop wisdom that hiring managers actually listen to, ask awesome questions, and finally feel like the strategic pro you know you can be.

Learning Outcome 1: Learn how to organize and prioritize recruiting work so you can focus more and not feel overwhelmed so you can be a true advisor to your stakeholders

Learning Outcome 2: Leverage “contracting” in day-to-day relationships and walk the line between being of service and not being “customer service”. Develop effective Hiring Manager "intake sessions" and create great service level agreements and sourcing strategies.
