Nick Schacht is a highly experienced executive with more than three decades of experience in professional services, education,  and corporate learning and development.  He has a history of driving product innovation, growth and profitability and he has led organizations operating worldwide. 

Nick is Chief Commercial Officer for SHRM, the world’s largest HR professional society. Before joining SHRM, Nick was the founder and CEO of KnowCyber, a learning and development company focused on improving the cybersecurity-related skills of people in all types of organizations worldwide. Prior to KnowCyber, Nick was President and Chief Operating Officer for PetroSkills, a provider of training and development services to the worldwide petroleum industry.  Prior to that, he was CEO and President of Learning Tree International, a publicly traded provider of IT and management learning and development.  Nick was also the President of Global Learning Systems, a start-up focused on e-Learning and digital content.  He served in a variety of capacities at ESI International, culminating in his role as President when ESI was sold to the Institute for International Research (IIR) and then as Group President for the Americas for IIR.  He has been a Research Fellow at the Logistics Management Institute, and began his career as a U.S. Navy Supply Officer, on the headquarters staff of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. 

Nick graduated with honors from the U.S. Naval Academy, and holds Master’s degrees in Administration from the University of Maryland University College, and Information Systems Technology from The George Washington University.

Angela Rogers is a Specialist with the HR Registered Apprenticeship Program (HR RAP) at the SHRM Foundation.  Angela conducts outreach, partner engagement, and project management to build the SHRM apprenticeship brand.  She brings diverse experiences from her well-established career in the public and private sectors.

Previously, Angela was a USDOL, Office of Apprenticeship, recognized Apprenticeship Training Representative (ATR), and State Apprenticeship Agency (SAA), Registered Apprenticeship Program Coordinator with the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  Angela managed and oversaw Statewide Registered Apprenticeship Programs in multiple industries.  Her oversight significantly led to the expansion of Registered Apprenticeship programs within the state.

Angela received her Master's degree in Public Administration from Kentucky State University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky.  In addition, Angela is certified in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Angela is a two-time commissioned Kentucky Colonel, the highest title of honor bestowed by the sitting Governor of Kentucky in recognition of outstanding service to the community, state, and nation.

Clayton Lord (Clay, he/him) oversees strategy, planning, program delivery, and program evaluation for the SHRM Foundation, the 501(c)3 nonprofit arm of SHRM, which focuses on widening pathways to work and helping every worker and workplace thrive by empowering HR leaders to be forces for social good. He is a social impact executive who has spent his career driving systemic change in the world of work. Clay is also a writer, painter, and quilter, as well as a travel fanatic, and holds a B.A. in English and Psychology from Georgetown University. He lives with his husband and daughter in Maryland.

Roselle Rogers, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is the Executive Director – DEI Strategy at Circa, now part of Mitratech, with responsibility for leading its DEI strategy and thought leadership initiatives. She is a subject matter expert in HR and OFCCP Compliance, affirmative action, EEO, and diversity; and frequently speaks on these topics at various HR conferences and webinars, educating and keeping employers abreast of trends and recent developments in OFCCP/AA/EEO compliance and DEI. Prior to this role, Rogers was responsible for the company’s OFCCP compliance operations for its federal contractor clients. She has more than 30 years of HR experience and holds senior professional certifications with HRCI and SHRM. Roselle is a graduate of Cornell University’s certificate program in DEI and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Development the Ateneo de Manila University. She currently volunteers her time as Advisory Board Member at HR.com, on the Advisory Network of CEO Action for Racial Equity, as Vice President of the Milwaukee Industry Liaison Group, and on the Board of the UP Alumni Association of Wisconsin.
