Sharon is focused on building infrastructure for a skills-based talent marketplace, promoting credentials interoperability standards, and empowering individuals to use their data to access opportunity. Prior to joining JFFLabs, Sharon led postsecondary education innovation initiatives at the US Department of Education's Office of Educational Technology.  Sharon hopes to be a park ranger when she grows up.

LaDonna is a licensed dance fitness instructor and has been teaching Zumba and dance classes for Walter Lewis Fitness Solutions since 2018. She has 10 years of experience in professional ballet, tap and jazz dance. She is also a licensed Mixxedfit instructor. Mixxedfit is a people inspired dance fitness program with body weight toning movements. She has been teaching weekly classes at The St. James and Golds Gym in Lorton, VA for two years. LaDonna is also a Registered Oncology Research Nurse for Virginia Cancer Specialists.

She is a Filipino-American columnist, host, and international speaker with a background in TV news for Seattle's PBS Channel. She is a contributor to Forbes and Harvard Business Review, where she focuses on teaching women and people of color how to advocate for themselves in the workplace. She also leads keynotes for clients like Microsoft and AT&T. As an extension of this work, Starla taught graduate students as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Washington Communication Leadership Master's Program, where she developed a course on executive presence, public speaking, and communication strategy. Prior to anchoring for PBS, she covered Washington state politics as a legislative reporter and hosted a technology news show.

Michelle has been with SHRM for three years as the Manager of the Knowledge Center Operations.  She comes to SHRM with over 25 years of Operations Management experience.  She has experience working in various industries, Government, Non-profit, Telecommunications and Multi-family. Additionally, Michelle has a diverse background in call center operations, finance/collections, and customer service management. In previous roles, her artfully balanced workplace objectives and productive relationships have inspired strategic and insightful suggestions, which have been instrumental with customer retention and revenue growth.
