Lorin Mueller, PhD, SPHR, is a nationally recognized expert on occupational and employment testing. He is currently as the managing director of assessment at the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy, a not-for-profit that develops the national licensure examination for physical therapy professionals. Prior to taking that position, Dr. Mueller was a Principal Research Scientist at the American Institutes for Research where he led the development of SHRM’s Assurance of Learning assessment for recent HR graduates. Dr. Mueller has worked on occupational assessments for such diverse occupations as air-traffic controllers, advanced mathematicians, medical school students, and teachers.

Yoshi founded and serves as president of HPO Creation, Inc., management consulting company specialized in leadership and organizational development. With more than 10 years of Human Resources/Organization Development experience and more than 10 years of marketing experience in several global companies such as Procter & Gamble, Levi Strauss, and Nortel Networks in Japan and Asia, Yoshi  provides global leadership development, organizational change, and marketing and sales development facilitation to helps clients strengthen their organizational and employee capability and business performance. He takes a holistic human and organization development approach in order to bring out best in people and achieve sustainable growth in the whole system.

Cynthia Myers Martinez began her career as executive director for a national youth and family service organization headquartered in Chicago, IL. Following nine years building that organization from one of local significance to national prominence, Cynthia started a fund raising and organizational development consulting business (CYM Associates). When Cynthia moved to the DC area, she maintained her business as a fundraising and organizational development firm, but soon determined that she wanted to focus more of the business on personnel and human resource issues and how they impact the development of an organization. CYM Associates, now located in San Antonio, TX, has further refined its focus to emphasize employee issues that affect organizational growth, specifically recruiting, performance improvement and generational management. Cynthia is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and, internationally, as a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR).

Amy Hirsh Robinson, M.B.A., is Chief People Officer for King’s Hawaiian, a global producer of irresistible Hawaiian food. Amy was brought on to King’s Hawaiian to re-envision the employee experience and transform the People function from traditional HR to a strategic driver of business growth. During her time at the company she has worked to radically redefine the purpose, structure and activities of HR with significant results. Prior to her role as CPO, Amy ran a successful human capital consulting firm, The Interchange Group, helping executives and HR professionals retool and adapt their strategies to rapidly changing workforce expectations and business landscapes.

John Vlastelica draws from  20 years of recruiting experience, including almost 10 years as a corporate recruiting leader and over 8 years as a recruitment management consultant and trainer. He was the Senior Director, Global Recruiting for Expedia, a Recruiting Director at Amazon.com, and the engineering recruiting leader for two start-up divisions of McCaw/AT&T Wireless. In 2002, he started Recruiting Toolbox to help other companies improve their in-house recruiting capabilities.
