Kelly Marinelli, J.D., SHRM-SCP, SPHR is the founder of and Principal People Strategy Consultant at Solve HR, Inc. in Boulder, Colorado. With over twenty years of success in business leadership, legal practice and HR consulting, she has extensive experience working in multiple industries and organization types, from Fortune 500 companies to startups. Kelly has been licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado since 1995, and specializes in aligning HR with business strategy and handling complex legal and regulatory requirements. She writes about these issues and others on The Solve HR Blog, and is an active SHRM volunteer leader.

Lori Goldberg is the Senior Director, Enterprise Talent Management for Cox Enterprises, a leading communications, media and automotive services company with more than 55,000 employees. 

In this role, Lori is responsible for enterprise-wide talent management strategies, processes and programs that support current business needs as well as future growth objectives across the company. Her scope includes employee engagement, cross-divisional career experiences, performance management, competency management, talent review, succession planning, executive assessment and career planning. She serves as a thought leader across the enterprise working with Cox leaders to drive employee engagement and retention to deliver on long-term growth objectives.

Lori joined Cox in 2012 from Boston Consulting Group where she supported the development of the firm’s intellectual property around talent management and leadership.  Prior to that, she was a Senior Consultant at Personnel Decisions International where she consulted with Fortune 500 companies on talent management, leadership development, executive coaching, workforce and succession planning, and executive assessment.

Lori holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida, and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University.

Danielle Monaghan leads the talent acquisition team for Amazon’s Consumer Division. She has 20+ years of TA experience living and working on three continents (Asia, Africa and the Americas, specifically North America).  Prior experience includes leading the HR function for Cisco for North Asia (Greater China, Japan and Korea), Cisco Technical Services in San Jose, CA and the HR and TA functions for Microsoft R&D in Greater China and Taiwan, as well as leading various TA functions, including executive recruiting for Microsoft in Redmond, WA.  In her role as Sr. Director of Global Staffing and Diversity for Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices division, she also oversaw hiring for the U.S., Canada, UK, China and France.

She holds an MBA from the Jack Welch Management institute and a BA in Information technology.  She also holds a certificate in Strategic Human Resources from the School of ILR at Cornell University.

Danielle enjoys travel, good wine and food, sailing, reading, music and squash.  She hopes to be good at one of her hobbies some day.

Michael Cox is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Boeing Defense, Space & Security and also serves as the Global Head of Executive Talent for The Boeing Company.

As CHRO he is responsible for the successful execution of human resources initiatives that drive peak business performance across BDS, while creating and sustaining a premier work environment for employees. He also provides direction on employee and organizational policies, strategies and processes throughout BDS.

As Global Head of Executive Talent, Michael is responsible for developing and executing a best-in-class executive talent management practices and strategy which includes attraction, assessment, and acquisition along with talent management practices to ensure Boeing has the necessary executive talent and bench strength to further our position as a global industry leader and career destination for top talent.

Michael is passionate about creating a diverse and inclusive workforce that fosters high-performing teams and the achievement of organization’s business objectives.  His career spans several global companies including Comcast, Walmart, eBay, Bank of America, and First Data in various disciplines in the field of Human Resources Management including HR business partnership, talent optimization and  development, compensation, performance management, analytics, culture and inclusion. His career has taken him across the United States and around the globe, including an expat assignment in Sydney, Australia. 

In addition to his role at Boeing, Michael most recently concluded serving on the Board of Directors for Out & Equal, an organization dedicated to ensuring workplace equality for the LGBTQ community for the past six years in a variety of roles including Board Chair, Governance and Search Committee Chair. He has biked from San Francisco to Los Angles three times and has raised over $100,000 in the fight to end the AIDS epidemic.

Christine Porath is an Associate Professor at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. She is also a consultant working with leading organizations to help them create a thriving workplace. Her speaking and consulting clients include Google, United Nations, International Monetary Fund, Genentech, Department of Labor, Department of the Treasury, Department of Justice, and National Security Agency.

Porath is a frequent contributor to the Harvard Business Review, and has written articles for New York Times (Sunday Review), Wall Street Journal, McKinsey Quarterly, and Washington Post. Her New York Times articles on "Why You Hate Work" and "No Time to Be Nice at Work" have been shared nearly 150,000 times on social media.

She frequently delivers conference talks, including at Human Resources People and Strategy (HRPS), Work Human, and Conference Board. She has taught in various Executive programs at Harvard, Georgetown, USC, and ESADE. Prior to her position at Georgetown, she was a faculty member at Marshall School of Business at University of Southern California.

Porath is the author of Mastering Civility: A Manifesto for the Workplace and co-author of The Cost of Bad Behavior. Her research has appeared in the Harvard Business Review, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Consumer Research, and many other journals and books.

Christine’s work has been featured worldwide in over 1500 television, radio and print outlets. It has appeared on 20/20, Today, FoxNews, CNN, BBC, NBC, msnbc, CBS, ABC, and NPR. It has also been included in Time, the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, Fortune, Forbes, NY Times, The Washington Post, and L.A. Times.

Before getting her Ph.D., she worked for International Management Group (IMG), a leading sports management and marketing firm. Porath received her Ph.D. from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her bachelor's degree in economics from College of the Holy Cross where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa as well as the women’s basketball and soccer teams.

Jathan Janove, a former state bar Employment Lawyer of the Year and now Executive Coach and Organization Development consultant, writes SHRM’s “Putting Humanity into HR Compliance” column, and is a Master Coach and Practice Leader with the Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching organization, including writing its Ask the Coach column. He’s the author, most recently, of “Hard-Won Wisdom: True Stories From The Management Trenches” (HarperCollins 2017). He’s currently working on his next book, “From Compliance Cop to Culture Coach: Transforming the HR Profession.”

Dr. Grant is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, and the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, and was recently elected to the highly selective Society for Experimental Social Psychology. She gives frequent invited addresses and speaks regularly at national conferences, and is available for speaking and consulting engagements, primarily in education, marketing, and  management.  She  received  her  PhD  in  social  psychology  from  Columbia University, working with Carol Dweck (author of Mindset).
