David Feinberg, SVP of Risk & Insurance

As SVP of Risk & Insurance at Justworks, David manages a cross-functional team, ensuring delivery of small business customers’ health insurance, workers compensation, and other benefits in compliance with regulation across all 50 U.S. states.

Prior to joining Justworks, David covered legacy PEOs as an equity research analyst for Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. After learning the ins and outs of the PEO industry in this context, David pivoted to the startup world, first at WellNet, and then to Justworks. Throughout his tenure at Justworks, David has stewarded partner relationships to expand and enhance the benefits options - health insurance, mental health, fertility, fitness, financial - for Justworks’ customers. David serves as Vice Chair of NAPEO (The National Association of Professional Employer Organizations). 

David holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Duke University and an MBA from Columbia University. He lives in Connecticut.
 

Laura Sherbin is a Managing Director at Seramount and leads Seramount’s Consulting and Learning divisions. Laura is an economist who specializes in the creation of advantage through inclusion and diversity. She built the rigorous data analytics machine and team that have been core to Seramount’s innovative approach to measuring and tracking employee experiences. Most recently, Laura was co-president at the Center for Talent Innovation (CTI) in New York City, a premier think tank and content provider that studies global workplace diversity. She has co-authored several Harvard Business Review articles, has taught Women and Globalization at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, and is known as a leading expert in applying diversity and inclusion data to human behavior in organizations and using such data to quantify how workforce sentiments and satisfaction affect company bottom lines.

Laura holds a BS in math and economics from the University of Delaware and earned her PhD in economics from American University. She currently resides in Irvington, New York, with her husband, their four children, and their dog, Gus.

Jeff is the Executive Director of the Anne and John McNulty Leadership Program and a Lecturer at The Wharton School and the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania.  He leads the team responsible for Wharton’s portfolio of curricular and co-curricular leadership development initiatives for undergraduate, MBA, and executive audiences. Jeff is also the Executive Director of the Advanced Management Program, Wharton’s flagship 5-week program for senior executives, and a founding member of the Penn Athletics Wharton Leadership Academy, the Barry & Marie Lipman Family Prize, and the SiriusXM weekly radio show, Leadership in Action.

Adam serves as a Senior Business Development Manager for Chubb Workplace Benefits. He joined Chubb in 2016 and brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, primarily focused on relationship management and business development with national consulting and brokerage firms. Adam works closely with business partners to recommend and provide innovative solutions to their mutual clients. He holds a bachelor's degree from Augustana College and currently resides in the Chicagoland area.

Desiree Johnson serves as the Head of Strategic Talent Pipelines at DRW.  After successfully pioneering the Leadership Rotation Network (LRN) program, she enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to also oversee the Apprenticeship and Code Platoon pipelines. Desiree is honored to work alongside other DRW leaders committed to championing a purposeful culture of inclusion, firmly believing in the abundant yet often untapped potential of underrepresented populations and is energized by the work to be done in this space.

Prior to DRW, Desiree earned her Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Ohio State and spent a decade in the oil industry as an HR practitioner and global leader.  As a first-generation student herself, she actively volunteers with organizations dedicated to supporting first-generation initiatives and currently serves on the Emerging Leaders Council for Bottom Line.
