Amy Hirsh Robinson, M.B.A., is Chief People Officer for King’s Hawaiian, a global producer of irresistible Hawaiian food. Amy was brought on to King’s Hawaiian to re-envision the employee experience and transform the People function from traditional HR to a strategic driver of business growth. During her time at the company she has worked to radically redefine the purpose, structure and activities of HR with significant results. Prior to her role as CPO, Amy ran a successful human capital consulting firm, The Interchange Group, helping executives and HR professionals retool and adapt their strategies to rapidly changing workforce expectations and business landscapes.

 

Robert J. (Bob) Greene, PhD, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR, CCP, CBP, GRP is the CEO of Reward Systems, Inc. and a faculty member for DePaul U. in their MSHR and MBA degree programs. He has over thirty years of experience in industry and consulting and has published over 100 articles and book chapters, as well as the book "Rewarding Performance: Guiding Principles; Custom Strategies." He was a principal designer of the PHR and SPHR certifications for SHRM and the CCP and GRP certifications for World at Work. He is a member of SHRM's Special Expertise Panel on HR Disciplines and speaks and teaches globally.

Dr. Jody Janati teaches in the Communication Studies Department at the University of Minnesota. She has an Ed.D. degree in Organizational Leadership and her primary interest area pertains to interpersonal conflict resolution strategies. As an author and independent consultant, she offers a variety of public and professional workshops on conflict reduction tactics and effective interpersonal communication skills. Dr. Singleton comes to Marist College from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He has held many leadership positions at GW and most recently served as associate dean, where he was responsible for all aspects of School of Business undergraduate programs. 

Singleton has held numerous academic and professional positions throughout his career. He has served as president of the Mid-Atlantic Region of the American Accounting Association, Secretary/Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Human Resource Certification Institute, and as a member of its Executive and HR Committees. He worked in the audit and National SEC Practice groups of Ernst & Young LLP’s Washington office and was a visiting professor at Grenoble Ecole de Management in France and Peking University in China. He has also served as a consultant to many of the world’s leading companies and organizations, including Cisco Systems, Inc., Harley-Davidson Motor Company, NASDAQ, National Investor Relations Institute, National Geographic Society, Public Relations Society of America, Raytheon, Roche, Siemens Corporation, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, and The World Bank.

Singleton is a recipient of the George Washington Award, the university’s highest, in recognition of exceptional contributions. He has received numerous teaching awards and was recognized by the Society for Human Resource Management on numerous occasions as one of its Annual Conference Top Ten Speakers.

Singleton is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi, the American Accounting Association, the National Investor Relations Institute, and the Society for Human Resource Management.
