My passion is to help create healthy and safe workplaces.  I specialize in design and implementation of innovative solutions across the entire spectrum of occupational and non-occupational health for large employers.  In my current role I oversee workforce health programs for UPMC’s 90,000 employees and their family members. My responsibilities include healthcare plan design, disability and absence management, workers’ compensation, return-to-work programs, EAP, FMLA/ADAAA compliance, clinical case management, wellness/health promotion, onsite clinics, telehealth, integration with safety and advanced data analytics.

My prior work experience includes executive roles for General Electric, Qwest Communications, Pacific Gas and Electric Company and the State of Georgia as well as a national health and disability consultant serving employers across the country. Just prior to UPMC, I was the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Innovation Officer for WorkCare.  

I have a BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia and an MS from Virginia Commonwealth University in Rehabilitation Counseling. I’m a Certified Disability Management Specialist and was honored to be awarded the 2014 Integrated Benefits Institute, Health and Business Performance Award for innovative value-based health plan design.
