Jenny Locanthi, SHRM-SCP is a Membership Initiatives Director for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Prior to joining SHRM, Jenny worked as an HR practitioner supporting a wide variety of HR functions including talent acquisition, benefits, compliance, payroll, training and performance management. Jenny is passionate about supporting organizations and the people that make their work possible. In her current role, she supports HR professionals and their SHRM-affiliated associations serve and advance the HR profession.

Shannon is a seasoned human resource professional with over 12 years of experience in program development, relationship building, and employee relations. She has helped numerous companies, including ADP, Apple, Amazon Web Services, and BlackBerry, attract and retain top talent. Shannon has a keen eye for understanding the inner workings of people and businesses and a professional interest in emotional intelligence in the workplace. In her free time, she enjoys riding her Vespa scooter or hiking along the shoreline in San Francisco.

Dr. Sean Wall-Carty holds a PhD in Human Resources Management from North Central University. He also earned an MBA in Human Resources Management, a bachelor’s degree in business management, and an associate degree in business all from the University of Phoenix. His prior experience includes graduate level college teaching, leadership seminars, training classes, and consulting. His corporate experience includes a blend of supporting the human resources functions for profit retail businesses, children focused non-profit missions, and local government leadership. During his off-time Dr. Wall-Carty supports his town as Town Councilman, Police Commissioner, and recently served as Deputy Town Supervisor for two years. Additionally, he completed his service as Vice President of his town’s School Board after 6 years and is one of the Commissioners for the County Division of Human Rights. His personal mission is to provide guidance and support in every interaction with optimism and clarity for positive outcomes.
