Since March 2016, Brad Shanklin has served as Executive Director of the Dallas HR Management Association including the HRSouthwest Conference. DallasHR, a professional association, is one of the largest chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). At DallasHR, the team focuses on providing high quality certified education and networking to more than 2,300 members.
Prior to coming to DallasHR, Brad served six years as the Senior Director of Chapters, for Meeting Professional International (MPI Global). His responsibilities included the Chapter Business team and the 80 international chapters and clubs. Before joining MPI, Brad spent eight years as the President/CEO of the Plano Chamber of Commerce in Plano, TX. During that time, he earned the Institute for Organization Management certificate in non-profit management from the US Chamber of Commerce. Prior to the chamber, Brad had a 14-year tenure with the American Heart Association at the National Headquarters in Dallas, as the State Director in New Mexico and in the council office in Houston. He has more than 32 years in the association and membership industry where he has continuously worked with volunteers, boards and member constituents.
Brad was elected to the Plano Independent School District Board of Trustees in 2005 and served for six years, three of those as Board Vice President. He is a former Rotarian and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

Bonnie has 26 years’ experience in human resources as a generalist, manager and director, has a BS in Business-Human Resources Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and holds current certification by SHRM as a Senior Certified Professional as well as HRCI as Senior Professional in Human Resources. The majority of her career has been as a generalist, and HR department of 1, for medium-sized organizations of varied industries in the Redding area; including 6 years as an independent HR consultant. Her experience includes all areas of human resources including recruitment and selection, staff development and training, performance management, benefits administration, compensation, payroll, employee relations, legal compliance, policy development, and risk management. She is currently Human Resources Manager for Ted Pella, Inc. in Redding, CA, a family owned and operated business that manufactures and sells microscopy supplies worldwide.
Her SHRM affiliation began in college in the SHRM Student Chapter on campus, and continued as a professional when she joined and quickly became involved in the local chapter in Redding, CA, where she spent over a decade being involved at some level. She recently re-connected and joined the Northstate SHRM Chapter Board in 2019 as Sponsorship Coordinator, took on Professional Development duties for 2020 as well, and is currently President Elect for the Chapter.

Olivia Sheldon Barnett began her passion for fitness and health at an early age. At 15, Olivia became a Black Belt in Karate and continued on her fitness passion path: teaching kickboxing, aerobics, women's self-defense classes, and working at a Cardiac Rehabilitation Center. In 1999, she earned her Yoga Teacher Certification.
From her own experience and inspiration, Olivia created Positive Energy Yoga®. She has spent the last two decades teaching in the Washington D.C. area in corporate settings, gyms and to private clients. She specializes in catering to each individual’s unique needs and enjoys a playful, light-hearted approach to the practice.
After many injuries from years of wear and tear, and after receiving a diagnosis of hypermobility (explaining many aches and pains), Olivia transitioned to a new-found appreciation of fitness, health and yoga. Less is more. Balance is best.

Guy Ryder was elected Director-General, International Labour Organization, by the ILO’s Governing Body in 2012 and took office in October that year. He was re-elected for a second term which started on 1 October 2017. Guy Ryder is committed to promoting decent work for all and to working through tripartism and social dialogue to make a positive difference in the working lives of people everywhere including and particularly in the lives of the most vulnerable.
The ILO celebrated its centenary in 2019 and Guy Ryder was instrumental in setting the Future of Work as the defining theme of the centenary to position the organization to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Under his leadership, the Global Commission on the Future of Work was established in 2017. Subsequently, the International Labour Conference adopted the Centenary Declaration for the Future of Work in 2019. The Declaration, centred on the Organization’s founding values, drives the promotion of a present and future of work that is fair and just by actively shaping the new forces impacting on the world of work. Guy Ryder collaborates closely with the UN System to support global efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. In the social and economic crisis triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, Guy Ryder is engaged in working with the ILO’s Members and in partnership with the multilateral system and other relevant parties, to apply the principles of the Centenary Declaration in the response to the crisis as well as to the challenge of recovery.
Guy Ryder joined the ILO in 1998 as Director of the Bureau for Workers’ Activities and, from 1999, as Director of the Office of the Director-General. In 2002, he was appointed General Secretary of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU). He was elected as first General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) when it was created in 2006. In 2010, Guy Ryder came back to the ILO as Executive Director. Born in Liverpool (UK) in 1956, Guy Ryder studied Social and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge and Latin American Studies at the University of Liverpool.
The ILO is a tripartite organization comprising governments and representatives of employers and workers.
