Terrie Glass is the President of Leadership Solutions, a training and consulting company based in Richmond, Virginia. She has 30 years of experience as a leader, working to develop organizations and teams. Prior to starting Leadership Solutions, Terrie enjoyed a 20-year career in local government human services. She holds a master’s degree in social work and was an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University for 20 years. Ben Hasan joined Walmart’s Global People team as Senior Vice President and Chief Global Culture, Diversity & Inclusion Officer in July 2015. In this role, Ben and his team are responsible for the activation and strategic evolution of Walmart’s culture; the development of behaviors that embrace diversity and inclusion at all levels; and the promotion of the company’s external reputation as a great place to work.
He joined Walmart in 2008, and previously served as Senior Vice President, Strategic Services, in Walmart Technology. In this role, Ben and his team were responsible for ISD (Information Systems Division) strategy, communication, innovation, vendor management, project management, business analysis, GTS – India & Mexico, and quality assurance.
Prior to joining Walmart, Ben worked 11 years at Dell Inc. where he progressed through several leadership positions before serving as Vice President of Corporate & Product Group Information Technology (IT). In this position, he directed teams in Texas, Shanghai, Taipei, and Singapore. Ben also served as General Manager of Dell’s IT Development Centers in Brazil and India. He gained broad experience in IT, human resources, rates and regulatory affairs, and customer service early in his career across 14 years at ENSERCH Corporation, an energy company based in Dallas.
Ben was the 2006 recipient of the Temple University Fox School IT Award for Distinguished Alumni. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Amberton University in Dallas and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a computer science concentration from Temple University in Philadelphia. Ben also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Ben is a board member for several national and local organizations, including the Walmart Foundation; Catalyst Board of Advisors; Ron Clark Academy (Atlanta); United Negro College Fund; and Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Vanessa “Siren” Mahan is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserve with 20+ years of military leadership experience and a combat veteran with over 100 combat missions in the F-15E Strike Eagle supporting Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.
As a Distinguished Graduate from AFROTC at Purdue University, she attended Joint Strike Navigator Training at Naval Air Station Pensacola, where a Military Sexual Trauma (MST) nearly destroyed her before her career could even takeoff. But reaching her goal of protecting troops and civilians by flying in combat in a post 9/11 world, helped her overcome the MST and other obstacles. She is a champion of diversity and inclusion, on a mission to inspire people and businesses by sharing her story with conviction, humor, and sincerity.
With a passion for physical training discovered after joining the military, Vanessa founded Siren Strong, LLC, a functional fitness and health coaching business dedicated to empowering men and women who want to up-level their wellness. She is a also speaker with Athena’s Voice USA, a badass company founded by two female veterans committed to bringing the wisdom of women warriors to audiences worldwide.
Vanessa enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her active duty Navy husband, her two children, and one rambunctious golden retriever.
