Sabrina is a Yoga, Meditation, Barre and HIIT instructor. She applies asana, ayurveda, and pranayama techniques along with body education across all these disciplines to provide you integrative and functional wellness. Matahma Gandhi said, “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” Her goal is to help you find more Satya, or Truthfulness, in your life so that you act on life-giving opportunities and self-express your internal hopes and dreams. She provides physical, mental and emotional support to help you achieve this heightened level of trust in yourself and find alignment in your thoughts, words and actions. Virginia (Ginny) Peddicord is Director of Global Employee Population Health.  Ginny is responsible for building organizational capabilities that enable Merck to implement programs and measure employee health and wellness investments.  She oversees innovative and integrated programs that drive employee engagement in health and wellness.  During her career with Merck, Ginny has held leadership roles in both Marketing and Sales.

Ginny has an MBA from the University of Chicago where she majored in Marketing, Strategy and attended the University’s Graduate Program in Health Administration and Policy.   

Babs Chase is the Vice President of Military and Veterans Programs at The Manufacturing Institute, the social impact arm of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), the nation’s largest industrial trade association.  In her role, Babs leads Heroes MAKE America- the Institute’s initiative to connect transitioning service members with the manufacturing industry creating a pipeline of skilled, credentialed candidates.

She has led outreach programs in myriad industries including Politics, Economic Development, Labor, Public Diplomacy, Corporate America and Defense.  Babs’s true passion is in the Defense industry connecting organizations wishing to be involved in the community by supporting those who wear the uniform of our country and the families serving alongside them. 

In 2018, Babs launched Chase Magnolia Partners, a consulting firm focused on building partnerships to support clients striving to make an impactful difference in the Military Veterans community.  Previously, Babs worked on the Public Affairs Team in Corporate Responsibility at JPMorgan Chase & Co. where she was responsible for expanding the face of the Firm in the Mid-Atlantic region by building relationships and engaging with local stakeholders and civic leaders.

From 2011 – 2017 Babs orchestrated executive outreach on behalf of the U.S. Army Senior Leadership developing and maintaining a network of hundreds of external influencers to advise them on impactful opportunities for the Army.  She received the Department of the Army Superior Civilian Service Award and Meritorious Civilian Service Award in recognition for her contributions.

Babs served almost all 8 years in the Administration of President George W. Bush. She started out working in Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Liaison at the Department of Labor representing the Secretary with local and State governments and corporate and association leaders around the country.  Next, she joined the Public Affairs Team in the Office of the Secretary of Defense where she built an integrated Community Relations Program to inform influencers about the policies, programs, and goals of the Department.  She also led the Joint Civilan Orientation Conference, a program for corporate and community leaders to expand their understanding of the role of the defense around the world showcasing our military from all Services.  Babs also served at the Department of State Foreign Press Center where she coordinated the foreign press coverage of the 2008 elections for hundreds of international journalists. 

A graduate of Baylor University, Babs is a proud native of Memphis, Tennessee.  She and her husband, Andrew Mickley (a Navy retiree), reside in Alexandria, Virginia with their Cavalier King Charles, Elvis.

Susan Collins PHR, Cl is the Director of Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding at Talbots. Perpetually inspired by people, processes, and ideas—Susan is always on the hunt for inspiring leaders that live and breathe the Talbots Brand. Her no-nonsense approach along with her insatiable curiosity has and continues to bring genuine, top talent through the doors of any company she works with or for. She is also responsible for strategy, technology & education around the recruitment function and is driven by the possibilities of making every day just a little better than yesterday for those around her.

As a Manager of Foundation Programs, Ashlee Droscher Smith drives the development and engagement of inclusion initiatives to mobilize the power of HR to lead positive social change impacting work, workers and the workplace. Specifically, Ashlee manages programs, projects and relationships associated with the SHRM Foundation Veterans at Work, Employing Abilities @Work and Getting Talent Back to Work initiatives. Ashlee joined the SHRM Foundation in 2014 as the Foundation’s development director for the SHRM Foundation, and prior to joining the SHRM Foundation, Ashlee served as a staff member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for 10 years.

Garen is the Co-Founder and Board Chairman of One Mind (formerly the International Mental Health Research Organization), a 501c(3) non-profit organization.

During the last twenty years, One Mind and the Staglin’s Music Festival for Brain Health have raised more than $400 million for mental health charities and research. Launched in 2011 with former Congressman Patrick Kennedy and now led by President, Brandon Staglin, One Mind is pursuing a number of large-scale public-private partnerships in Schizophrenia, TBI, and PTS as well as funding cutting-edge research with 30 rising star scientists.

Garen is a private equity investor and philanthropist with more than 40 years of experience in building and starting companies in the financial services and payment industries. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Silicon Valley Bank, ExL Services, NVoice Payments and Profit Velocity Solutions. He is also a Senior Advisor to FTV Capital. Garen is a graduate of UCLA, B.S.-Engineering (1966), and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, MBA (1968). He is a recipient of the Gold Spike Award, Stanford University’s highest award for volunteer service and the UCLA College of Letters & Science Fellows Award. He is Co-Chairman of the UCLA Centennial Capital Campaign.

He and Shari, and their children, Brandon and Shannon, are founders of the STAGLIN FAMILY VINEYARD, a 64-acre estate in Rutherford, California.

Ashley Miller, M.A., SHRM-SCP, is the Workplace Innovation Manager for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). At SHRM, she is responsible for the implementation and management of SHRM’s newest initiative, ParagonLabs. ParagonLabs bridges the gap between HR and tech to create better workplace technologies that solves today’s most pressing workplace challenges. Our goal is to enable better workplaces and elevate the HR profession through purposeful engagement with workplace innovators.

An industrial/organizational (I/O) psychology practitioner by training, Ashley worked as a consultant and researcher prior to joining SHRM. She has consulted for clients across multiple sectors and industries in a variety of workforce- and workplace-related areas (e.g., job analysis, competency modeling, change management, assessment development and validation, training and development, strategic planning, talent management).
