Dr. Bruce Stetar has over 25 years of experience as an educator in three different countries. His disciplines are management and leadership, but he has also taught a range of business and information technology courses. Prior to joining WGU he was the Sr. Executive Director of Business Programs at SNHU-COCE for five years and prior to that was with the Higher Colleges of Technology in the United Arab Emirates for 16 years.  He has been involved with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP) since 2007 in a variety of leadership roles and is currently Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors.

Margaret Simonis serves as the director of undergraduate programs for the College of Business at Western Governors University. This includes leadership for 500+ faculty and over 40 leaders. Margaret joined Western Governors University in 2008 and has worked in the higher education field for 16 years. Before joining WGU, Margaret held roles in wellness & health education and in student services.  Hiring, training, and change management are all areas that Margaret has extensive experience with. Margaret earned her master’s degree from Ball State University and resides in Pittsburgh, PA.

She has worked for WGU approximately 8 years where she mentors and assists adult learners to reach their educational goal of earning their Human Resources Bachelors’ degree from one of the largest online and competency-based institutions. She is a team leader who coaches, trains and pilots programs that helps support change and growth in the University. She has worked in higher education for over 20 years and her specialty is online learning, enrollment and program mentoring. She holds a bachelor's degree in Public Relations, a Master's in Organizational Management and a second Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She has had experience working for several higher educational institutions and working for companies including Disney, Six Flags California, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Nikki has over 12 years of adjunct teaching experience in courses related to HR including leadership, interpersonal communication and critical thinking. She resides and works in Cave Creek, Arizona.

Patricia holds a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership and a Master's Degree in Administration/Human Resource Administration.  Her Bachelor of Science and Associates in Arts degrees are in Business and Management.  Patricia holds a certified teaching certificate in the state of Texas and has also studied and received diplomas in business and technology from Suffolk College University in England.  Besides having a passion for human resources, Patricia has a passion for education and learning. Patricia believes in education and the learning process and she feels that it is extremely important to never stop learning, whether it is in your workplace or in an institute of higher education.

Dr. Loren Murfield is a disruptive thinker who serves as an Executive Coach, Author, Filmmaker, and Speaker. Dr. Rashmi Prasad serves as Academic Vice-President for the College of Business at Western Governors University.  His duties include setting the vision and managing the portfolio for one of the largest business schools in the country, currently enrolling approximately 42,000 students nationwide and graduating over 10,000 students in the most recent year. Under Dr. Prasad’s leadership, the College of Business attained initial accreditation with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs and strives to become an ‘engine of prosperity’, building on the strength of competency-based education to help empower individuals, businesses and communities across the United States.

Prior to coming to WGU, Dr. Prasad served as Dean of the College of Business and Public Policy at the University of Alaska Anchorage.  UAA and CBPP were renowned for extensive community engagement and received a Carnegie classification for community engagement.  He led the College of Business and Public Policy through its maintenance of accreditation with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Dr. Prasad served key public institutions and business associations in the state of Alaska, including providing support to the Governor’s Housing Summit, expert testimony to the Alaska Legislature, serving as an advisor to the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, and serving as a board member of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to becoming Dean, Dr. Prasad was a faculty member at the University of Alaska Anchorage for the eleven years and currently holds the rank of Professor of Business Administration.   Prasad completed his baccalaureate and master’s degrees at the University of Michigan and University of Illinois, respectively, before completing his PhD at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.  In his professional life he has been a dedicated educator, frequently honored by students, peers and alumni for the quality of his teaching and student advising.  Dr. Prasad’s primary research focus has been business ethics, inter-cultural management, and health systems administration.  As a researcher and scholar, he has contributed chapters to numerous books and published articles in notable journals such as Business and Politics, Governance, and The Journal of Business Ethics.  In 2014 he presented one of the first management studies at the International Symposium on Contemplative Studies in Boston, an inter-disciplinary conference attracting leading researchers from every field.

Mitsu Frazier serves as Vice President of Operations for the Business College at Western Governors University, the nation’s first and largest nonprofit, competency-based university. Since April of 2008, Mitsu has led all faculty and operational functions with a personal passion for improving the lives of others through individual connection and mentoring. Under her leadership, WGU’s Business College has supported 40,000+ graduates across undergraduate and graduate programs and has grown from 8,000 students to 42,000+ students. 

Before coming to WGU, Mitsu worked with one of the world’s largest banks, HBSC North America, as an executive leader of consumer and financial lending- a sector dedicated to supporting the financial stability and long-term financial planning for individuals across the country. 

Mitsu lives and works in Phoenix, Arizona but calls Montana home. She attended the University of Montana and Montana State University-Northern and earned her degree in Business Administration. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University.
