William D. Wight is a partner in the Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. offices and is the chair of the firm's International Employment Practice Group.  He counsels employers on various global employment, compensation and benefit issues related to employees abroad, as well as foreign nationals working in the U.S. and the employment of the U.S. permanent residents and citizens abroad.  Bill has worked with compliance issues related to hiring, retention and separation of employees in a multitude of jurisdictions.  His experience with global employment issues has helped him assist our clients with international operations on all sevel continents including Antarctica.  Bill has assisted clients with the implementation of strategic planning and policy development with respect to global HR practices and policies.  He has also assisted clients with the management of litigation and employment controversy matters in numerous international jurisdictions.  Bill has also counseled clients based outside the United States with the special considerations that are required when complying with U.S. employment and employee benefit rules and regulations. Bill is regularly involved with resolving questions related to privacy and data protection issues.  

Shayna Balch is a partner in both the Phoenix and Los Angeles offices. She represents employers in employment and labor litigation matters before federal and state courts as well as before administrative agencies. She handles matters across all facets of labor and employment law including employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, preventive counseling, employee training, personnel policies, and employment agreements. Shayna has represented clients before trial and appellate courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Arizona Civil Rights Division, and United States Department of Justice Office of Special Counsel (OSC).

David Lindgren is a Senior Manager with Flexible Benefit Service Corporation (Flex), a fullservice wholesale insurance firm and administrator of tax-advantaged benefit plans based in Rosemont, Illinois. David oversees the Compliance and Public Affairs departments at Flex and brings fifteen years of experience to his role.

He is a subject matter expert in the areas of ERISA, HIPAA, Cafeteria Plans, Healthcare Reform and various Employee Benefit Programs, including consumer-driven plans that incorporate Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and wellness programs.

Mr. Wilkinson is the Managing Director of Leadership Strategies, Inc. - a leadership training and strategy consulting firm specializing in group facilitation. Justin retired from the Marine Corps at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.  He deployed to Iraq in 2006 and suffered a gunshot wound to the head while there, but has had an incredible recovery.  He is now an inspirational speaker and a leading voice in the veteran community.  Justin wrote a leadership book for mid-level managers in 2015, and SHRM recently published his authoritative guide on veteran employment.  Justin has given several TEDx talks, has been honored by several presidents, and is one of the wounded warriors painted by President Bush in his book Portraits of Courage. 

 

 

Jeryn Laengrich serves as Chief Service Officer for Cariloop where she leads the company’s team of healthcare coaches as they walk with families through their caregiving journeys. Jeryn graduated from the University of North Texas with an M.S. in Speech Language Pathology and has extensive clinical experience as a speech-language therapist in every healthcare setting. Jeryn entered the patient advocacy space because she wants to put the “care” back into “healthcare.” As a 16-year caregiver to her parents, Jeryn firmly believes no one should go through the process of caring for a loved one alone.
