Philip Gordon co-chairs the Privacy and Background Checks Practice Group of Littler Mendelson, the nation’s largest law firm representing only management in employment law matters.  He counsels employers on the full range of workplace privacy issues, including electronic monitoring; social media; “bring-your-own-device” programs; compliance with HIPAA; and security incident preparedness and response. He advises many U.S. multinationals on the application of non-U.S. data protection laws, including the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, on the handling and cross-border transfer of HR data.  Mr. Gordon received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his law degree from New York University School of Law.  

CP is a current practising Senior HR Business Partner based in Singapore with almost 10 years of HR specialist and generalist experience in various industries such as Government, Banking & Finance, e-Commerce, Logistics and IT.  Accredited as a HR practitioner in Singapore US, UK, Australia and Canada, CP has consulted with numerous clients from MNCs to SMEs in various HR areas and has designed and conducted training workshops in HR, business and leadership skills, as well as facilitated management meetings and strategic planning workshop.  He has also been invited to speak at many HR conference in Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Myanmar.   He is currently providing HR advisory services to local companies under the Singapore Government programs for SMEs and serves as a volunteer board and committee member in two local non-profit organisations. 

Martin Lee is the Human Resources Manager (Singapore & The Philippines) at Baker Hughes, a GE Company, a global industry leader in the delivery of oilfield products and solutions.

Martin has over 14 years of experience delivering Human Resources solutions in Singapore as well as the Asia Pacific Region. His experience includes talent management, talent acquisition, employee development, and industrial relations.

Martin earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from Lancaster University (UK). He holds graduate diplomas in Human Resources Management as well as Career Coaching. Martin is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Attorney James P. (“Jim”) Reidy is a management-side labor and employment lawyer. He is a partner in the New England based law firm, Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green, PA, where he is the Chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment group. His practice focuses on prevention, training and compliance but he also handles matters when claims arise.

He has more than 35 years of experience in the field and been a media resource on workplace law for media outlets including CNN, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times Business Magazine, Bloomberg, NPR, The Associated Press, NPR Market Place, Buzz Feed, Law 360, Inc. Magazine, The HR Power Hour, HR Breakroom, SKI Magazine and HR Magazine as well as several local/regional publications.

In 2020 Jim was inducted as a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.

Best Lawyers USA named Jim the 2022 Lawyer of the Year for Labor and Employment Law (Manchester, NH) and the NH Business Review named him one of the top 200 most influential business leaders in New Hampshire.

Jim has been a presenter regularly at SHRM’s Legal and Legislative Conference in Washington, DC as well as SHRM’s annual conferences.

Mr. Shetterly is the managing shareholder in the Greenville, South Carolina office of Ogletree Deakins. He regularly counsels management on an array of employment and labor law issues, but the primary focus of his practice is FMLA and ADA compliance. He regularly counsels the firm’s clients to ensure management can confidently comply with these complex laws. Mr. Shetterly views his counseling role as one designed to make clients self-sufficient and compliant. His advice is practical, making difficult concepts simple. He is locally and nationally recognized as an excellent trainer of general counsels, human resources, and management.

David Lindgren is a Senior Manager with Flexible Benefit Service Corporation (Flex), a fullservice wholesale insurance firm and administrator of tax-advantaged benefit plans based in Rosemont, Illinois. David oversees the Compliance and Public Affairs departments at Flex and brings fifteen years of experience to his role.

He is a subject matter expert in the areas of ERISA, HIPAA, Cafeteria Plans, Healthcare Reform and various Employee Benefit Programs, including consumer-driven plans that incorporate Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and wellness programs.

Jason Sheffield is BRPs National Director of Compliance for the Baldwin Regulatory Compliance Collaborative. He oversees the ongoing evolution of our firm's national compliance operations. Jason develops, designs and implements educational programming and compliance assuredness services by creating timely and relevant solutions designed for the benefit of our clients and colleagues, our industry partners, and the general benefits community. Jason has practiced employee benefits law and consulting for nearly two decades, representing individual, corporate, and tribal interests at the local, state, and federal levels. He has advised clients and provided representative services before administrative agencies such as the DOL, the IRS, CMS, OCR, several state-level treasury authorities, and others. He has experience with both qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, executive compensation matters, and extensive experience respecting health and welfare plan matters. Jason received his undergraduate degree from Georgia State University (magna cum laude) and his Juris Doctor from Western New England College School of Law. He is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia.
