Malinda Riley works with clients to address a full range of total remuneration and employee benefits challenges.  From day to day issues to long term strategic planning, Malinda partners with her clients to meet their business needs.  Her expertise centers on the design and analysis of benefit and total remuneration programs. 

Malinda understands the employee benefits challenges facing clients today and develops solutions to address escalating costs, administrative inefficiency and employee education. Increasingly, she works with clients across all industry sectors to ensure they have the right mix of compensation and benefit programs that fit the needs and objectives of the organization while maintaining cost and market competitiveness.

• Analysis of competitiveness and design of executive retirement plans and perquisites
• Comparison of the compensation structure, incentive plan design and benefit plan designs against the organization’s Total Remuneration philosophy, and
• Health & welfare and Retirement plan design.

David Scott is the Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer at DISH Network in Englewood, Colorado.

DISH Network is a connectivity company that has been a disruptive force in the pay TV industry since 1980 and is now planning to disrupt the wireless industry by launching the United States’ first standalone 5G broadband network. 

David leads the Global Human Resources team, with accountability to deliver the human capital to achieve DISH’s business aspirations.  Since joining DISH in 2018, he has driven a full HR revolution, positioning the organization for significant growth as they prepare to enter new business lines. In addition to HR, he oversees other aspects of team member experience, including real estate, construction, travel, and corporate dining.

David began his professional career at Walmart directly after college.  He held levels of increasing responsibility in most HR disciplines through his 20 years in the Company.  David helped form the then-fledgling HR organization, transforming the hiring, diversity and employment practices during his time, as well as leading all major business partner functions. When he left the retail giant, he was serving as the SVP of Talent and Organizational Effectiveness.  David is a graduate of the University of Florida (go Gators!) with a degree in Business.

Mark Lam is Vice President, Compliance at Assurance, specializing in creating highly personalized client relationships through consistent communication regarding legislative and regulatory issues. He is responsible for a wide variety of activities, including supporting internal staff and clients with their compliance-related questions and working with Assurance staff on internal compliance projects. Additionally, Mark delivers seminars and webinars on topics that span the complex web of employee benefit regulations, such as Health Care Reform, ERISA, HIPAA, IRS, DOL, EEOC, and other federal and state employee benefit regulations.  

Joe Gerstandt brings greater clarity, action, and impact to organizational diversity and inclusion efforts.

Joe has worked with Fortune 100 corporations, small non-profits, and everything in between. He speaks at numerous conferences and summits, and blogs at joegerstandt.com. He is a featured contributor for the Workforce Diversity Network Expert Forum and his insights have been published in Diversity Executive, HR Executive, and numerous other print and on-line journals.

Paul Falcone (PaulFalconeHR.com) is principal of Paul Falcone Workplace Leadership Consulting, LLC, specializing in management & leadership training, executive coaching, international keynote speaking, and HR advisory services. He is the former CHRO of Nickelodeon Animation and has held senior-level HR positions with Paramount Pictures, Time Warner, and City of Hope. G. Riley Mills is an Emmy Award-winning producer and writer, and the co-founder of Pinnacle Performance Company. He presented his TEDx session "Are We Killing Communication" at the Shanghai American School and has guest-lectured at such institutions as the Columbia University, London Business School, Manchester United, and The Royal Household at Buckingham Palace. Mills has written about leadership and communication for Forbes, Fast Company, and Inc. Magazine. 

Dr. Jamie Velazquez is the Director of Staff Development for Crittenton Services for Children and Families, in Southern California.  With over a decade of adult education, training, and leadership development experience in higher education and in the non-profit sectors, she has led the development and implementation of robust training programs that meet the requirements of national standards, licensing, accreditation, and/or the various county, state, and federal contracts for the various agencies or institutions. A background in psychology, education, and leadership led to a passion for social justice, rooted in critical theory, which greatly impacted her endless journey toward cultural competency.
