Denise Pirrotti Hummel, J.D., is a Human Capital Principal at EY, where she leads national culture integration and optimization across the globe. She is the former CEO and Founder of Universal Consensus, LLC, a culture transformation firm. Her team helps clients improve global business results and build lasting performance by enhancing corporate, national, gender and generational culture, key components of enterprise financial success. In addition to serving clients, she leads a team of 40 engineers, computer scientists, curriculum specialists and researchers that operationalize EY’s global culture tools used for H.R. transformation and M&A culture integration. Hummel is a member of the prestigious U.S. State Department Worldwide Speaker and Specialist Program and a speaker on culture and change management at SHRM 2013 and SHRM 2014. She has consulted for a myriad of Fortune 100 companies in every sector, as well as the U.S. State Department and the Pentagon. Prior to founding Universal Consensus, Hummel was an attorney practicing commercial and employment law, and D&I internationally. That experience has enabled her to effectively link a client’s HR and cultural considerations with the overall enterprise risk management impacts. Denise was recognized by the American Bar Association as one of the top twenty young attorneys in the United States in 1992. She is a published author and speaks multiple languages.

Elaine Orler president and founder of Talent Function Group and chairman of the Talent Board, founding organization of the Candidate Experience Awards, has been involved in developing and implementing HR solutions since 1993. Well regarded as a leading industry expert, many companies have depended on her knowledge in talent management and recruitment strategy, process and technology to further their organizations. Suzanne Garber is the Chief Networking Officer for International SOS, charged with connecting and organizing the hundreds of thousands of resources within the global network of medical, security, and travel related providers, employees and clients. In Garber’s previous role as Chief Operating Officer--Americas, Garber had day-to-day responsibility of operations, sales, and finance and was accountable for the delivery of P&L for the entire region. Prior to joining International SOS, Garber enjoyed a successful career with various operating companies of FedEx, culminating in her role as Managing Director, South America. Garber, a dual US/Italian citizen, is an honors graduate from Rutgers University with a degree in foreign languages and a Master’s degree recipient with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. Reared in Spain, Mexico, Algeria, Egypt, the Dominican Republic and various US states, she is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and is recognized as an international expert in the area of Duty of Care, international assignments, and risk mitigation within globalization. Her travels have taken her to every continent and over 70 countries.

Michele Honomichl is the CEO and Founder of Celergo, which provides international payroll management services in over 130 countries. Michele’s responsibilities include corporate strategy, investor relations, and new business development. She is actively involved in the payroll industry by presenting at numerous industry forums on various topics including: Global Payroll, Expatriate Management and Technology topics. Michele is also the author of Chapter 13 on International Payroll in the Payroll Answer Book (2008-2011 editions) published by Aspen Publishers.

William D. Wight is a partner in the Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. offices and is the chair of the firm's International Employment Practice Group.  He counsels employers on various global employment, compensation and benefit issues related to employees abroad, as well as foreign nationals working in the U.S. and the employment of the U.S. permanent residents and citizens abroad.  Bill has worked with compliance issues related to hiring, retention and separation of employees in a multitude of jurisdictions.  His experience with global employment issues has helped him assist our clients with international operations on all sevel continents including Antarctica.  Bill has assisted clients with the implementation of strategic planning and policy development with respect to global HR practices and policies.  He has also assisted clients with the management of litigation and employment controversy matters in numerous international jurisdictions.  Bill has also counseled clients based outside the United States with the special considerations that are required when complying with U.S. employment and employee benefit rules and regulations. Bill is regularly involved with resolving questions related to privacy and data protection issues.  

Dr. van Dongen is a business savvy global executive, who has broad experience in HR ranging from local responsibility up to Global experience within FMCG, IT Consumer goods, manufacturing and renewable energy environment. He also operated as managing director, including P&L responsibility for his own startup. In his current role in HR he is responsible for the HR strategic setup, design and implementation for the Global Growth Projects, which Cristal is undertaking. Cristal is a Saudi headquartered Global chemicals company focuses at titanium dioxide and other related  titanium chemicals. He is based out of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with his family. Mark holds a Master degree in Psychology, a PhD in management sciences and is certified as GPHR and as a FCIPD.

 

Mike Beamish’s career with Volkswagen began in 1988 as an Organizational Development Specialist with Volkswagen of South Africa.  Over the past 25 years Mike has held various positions of increased responsibility in the field of Human Resources, including areas such as Learning and Development, Organizational Effectiveness and HR Operations. Currently Mike leads the HR team that is responsible for the integration and execution of VWGoA’s Human Capital Strategy with the overall Corporate Strategy and is a member of both the local VWGoA Management Team as well VW’s global Group Top Management. 

Over the years Mike has repeatedly proven his ability to lead through diverse and challenging situations. In 2002 he stepped outside of his traditional HR responsibilities and served as the Brand Loyalty Manager for the VW Brand.  In 2008 Mike led the relocation of the company headquarters from Auburn Hills Michigan to Herndon, Virginia and was an integral part of the team that led the site selection for VW’s production plant in Chattanooga TN. 

A native of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Mike attended the University of Port Elizabeth
