Renowned for her strategic leadership and commitment to enhancing healthcare access, Melissa Frieswick brings a wealth of expertise gained through pivotal roles in the industry. As the former Chief Growth Officer at UpHealth, Chief Commercial Officer at Total Brain, Chief Revenue Officer at Maven, and Senior Vice President of Sales at Virgin Pulse. As one of the early Executive Team members who scaled Virgin Pulse, she orchestrated groundbreaking initiatives, driving expansion and innovation within the digital healthcare landscape. In this time of pressing need for innovation at so many organizations, Melissa brings a visionary outlook aimed at reshaping mental health accessibility and enabling a custom approach to care to her work at Koa Health.

Teira (TEER-UH) joined First Stop Health in 2015 with an aim to make healthcare the way it should be: accessible, affordable and delightful.

As an experienced healthcare professional, she spent her early career in healthcare market research and consulted with leading health systems across the country to help them better use patient and physician experience data to improve care. She is well-versed in the fact that “good” is never good enough and commits herself daily to improving First Stop Health’s service, so the company may, in turn, improve the state of healthcare.

She has worn several hats at First Stop Health and has touched nearly every part of the business first-hand: from product development to client care and sales to physician network management. Now, as Chief Executive Officer, she guides the organization’s efforts on growth and patient impact.

Her colleagues describe her as a learner and a teacher. She dedicates herself to building trust with those inside and outside of the organization, and focuses on coaching individuals and teams to the next level.

Teira grew up on a cattle farm in Southwest Missouri, where her interest in increasing access to care was born. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and a master's degree in health administration.

In her spare time, Teira practices yoga, makes groan-worthy puns, and loves spending time in nature and with family.

Laura Maffucci is G-P’s Head of HR, and she leads the company’s global workforce, talent, and employee experience. She operates from a people-first mindset and strongly believes that diversity of thought is paramount for a healthy workspace. 

Laura previously held leadership positions in the Global Total Rewards team at G-P, from Sr. Director to VP. Before this, she led Total Rewards & HRIS at Progress, a tech company focused on products to develop, deploy and manage high-impact applications. Prior to Progress, she held roles of increasing responsibility with Ocean Spray Cranberries, where she was awarded HR Award for Innovation and Creativity (2016). Her tenure at Ocean Spray Cranberries was preceded by roles with an emphasis on compensation and HR practices.

In her 20+ year career in HR, Maffucci has spoken on global and national platforms about compensation, employee well-being and mental health. She’s a staunch advocate for the employee experience and creating a culture of inclusivity. Laura is passionate about the future of work, normalizing the value of work everywhere, and enabling employees across the globe to be their best selves and add value wherever they go and whatever they do.
Maffucci resides in Boston, MA with her family.
 

Lindsay is a human resources (HR) professional who is passionate about all things data, people, and culture. She holds the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation and currently works as the Director of People and Culture at Cardata where she has helped to build out the HR function from the ground up, working with executive leaders across the organization to shape compensation, recruitment, performance, and development programming. Throughout her experiences, she has helped leverage the vast amount of data available to inform and shape people programs and practices. She loves helping others learn, and currently holds teaching roles at both George Brown and York University in their continuing education department. 

Kenny Latimer is the Director of Product Marketing at BambooHR where he leads go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and audience insights. Before BambooHR, Kenny held senior brand management and marketing positions at Melaleuca and NuSkin where he introduced home care and wellness products into domestic and international markets. He later joined a market research company, SSI, where he launched their first self-serve research and data tools. Now at BambooHR, Kenny and his team have launched countless HR-related tools to the market, including payroll, ben admin, time tracking, and employee experience surveys. He has spent the last 6 years deepening his understanding of HR and the people-related challenges faced by business leaders in a modern workforce. He is passionate about helping HR showcase its value to an organization and building great places to work.

Jessica Srikantia Field, Ph.D., PCC, ITCA, is Academic Director and Associate Professor of the Practice at Georgetown University's Institute for Transformational Leadership.  Jessica has engaged in global solidarity work with extraordinary leaders and communities facing extreme conditions and structural violence.  She is passionate about supporting people, teams and organizations to elevate and thrive through the currently unfolding shifts in consciousness and systems.  Jessica's gifts include sensing into the emerging future, purpose-led transformation and alignment, collective trauma healing, and liberating the creative, synergistic potential in conflict.  Her modalities range from organization development and coaching to energetics, and she is a trained coach supervisor and a professionally certified individual and team coach.  A Rhodes Scholar, Jessica earned an A.B. in History & Literature from Harvard University, a BA in Philosophy & Psychology from Oxford University, and a Ph.D. jointly in Psychology and in History, Philosophy and Sociology of Science from the University of Chicago. 

Sharon Newport is an organizational consultant, facilitator, speaker, and executive coach with clients in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors across the globe. Sharon also serves as adjunct faculty at Georgetown University's Institute of Transformational Leadership. Sharon spent over a decade as an association and nonprofit executive, successfully leading wide-scale strategic, operational, and cultural change, and her early career, she was a documentary television/film producer and actor. Sharon has earned the Certified Association Executive designation from American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), a certification in the Key Polarity Indicator™, a credential in the Foundations of Somatic Abolitionism, a certificate in the Neuroscience of Change, an Executive Certificate from Georgetown University in Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership, and her B.F.A. from the State University of New York, Purchase College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Sharon was awarded a Leader of Distinction by digitalNow and is a proud ASAE Diversity Executive Leadership Program alumnus.
