He has had a 30+ year career with key roles in Healthcare organizations in both For-Profit and Not-for-Profit settings such as Ryan Health, Community Healthcare Network, Aptium Oncology, Inc., Hebrew Home at Riverdale, Strang Cancer Prevention Center, Kingsboro Medical Group, St. Joseph Services for Children and Families, Professional Resources of New York, and New York Presbyterian Hospital.
He is a graduate of Cornell University/Bernard M. Baruch College with a Master of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations (MSILR, Major Concentration in Human Resource Management), and Herbert H. Lehman College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (BA, Major Concentration in Business Management). He is also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma and Golden Key National Honor Societies. Additionally, Ken is certified as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) through the Society for Human Resource Management and he is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the HR Certification Institute.
Ken also gives back to the Human Resources profession through his work with New York City SHRM, the oldest local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management, where he serves on its Board of Directors and has been the chapter’s President since July 1, 2022.

Anjelica Dortch is Senior Director of U.S. Government Affairs at SAP – the world’s largest provider of enterprise application software – where she manages the company’s cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and workforce policy portfolio. Prior to joining SAP, Anjelica led scale up of tech policy positions at IBM within the Government and Regulatory Affairs team with a focus on artificial intelligence, hybrid cloud, and intellectual property.
Anjelica spent 10 years working for a variety of federal agencies to include being a Senior Technology Advisor within the White House where she led coordination of several tech policy initiatives within the U.S. Government. She was co-author to U.S. policies and strategies including the National Cyber Strategy, the U.S. Federal Cloud Computing Strategy (Cloud Smart), and the Administration’s Report on Artificial Intelligence.
Anjelica is the recipient of the IBM Landmark award, Women Leading for Impact award, the University of Maryland Outstanding Alumnus award, and Federal Computer Week's Rising Star award. Anjelica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and a Master of Science in Financial Management and Information Systems from the University of Maryland.

Scott is an internationally recognized crisis negotiator, advisor, trainer and keynote speaker. He is known and respected for his experience negotiating in highly charged situations, with high stakes and when the situation requires sensitivity to the human element. Scott worked as a hostage/crisis negotiator with one of the largest regional SWAT teams in the United States for many years before moving into the role of a negotiations speaker and trainer. He has over 20 years of law enforcement experience and retired from a Chicago area police department in 2023 at the rank of Lieutenant. He was trained by in negotiation by the FBI and has studied at the Harvard University Program on Negotiation, at IMD Business School, and he continues to receive training from the world’s top negotiators.
Scott is a prolific trainer within the negotiation field and travels the country and around the world speaking to a wide variety of audiences. He has taught negotiations at Harvard University, for the FBI, and has keynoted for companies such as Microsoft and Bosch. In 2016, he was invited to give a TEDx talk titled “The Secrets of Hostage Negotiators”, which has received over 1 million views. His visibility as a speaker and educator through TEDx and other venues has reached global status.
Scott currently resides in the Chicago area and is a Partner and co-founder with the Negotiations Collective, where he works with organizations and their leaders on how to have difficult conversations to resolve conflict and increase their influence.
