Cori Davis is the Chief People Officer at Genentech, a member of the Roche Group. In this role, she leads the strategy to foster an inclusive and inspiring environment where the company’s 13,500 employees can grow, thrive, and unlock their full potential to contribute to patients and society.

 

Since joining Genentech in 2009, Cori has provided human resources and organizational development support to functions such as drug development, commercial, government affairs, medical affairs and business operations in both U.S. and global roles.

 

An innovative leader with more than 25 years of human resources experience, Cori brings enterprise thinking, empathy, results orientation and a common sense approach to problem solving. Her current focus is on exploring and implementing flexible ways of working that maximize both individual and organizational performance.

 

In addition to leading the People & Culture team, Cori is a member of the Genentech Executive Committee and the Roche Global Pharmaceuticals People & Culture Enabling Team, is the Executive Sponsor of the Genentech Diversity Equity and Inclusion Board and is a member of the Genentech Foundation Board of Directors. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Bay Area Council, a group of business leaders working to ensure the Bay Area is a globally competitive place to work and live.

 

Prior to Genentech, Cori worked for Microsoft, Deloitte Consulting, and in private consulting. She has a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology.

Erica Edwards-O'Neal is a strategic diversity, equity and social responsibility professional and lawyer. Bringing more than 25 years’ experience, she is a business executive that has provided guidance, counsel, and training across the country on topics including cultural competence, implicit bias, microaggressions, inclusive leadership, inclusive human resource practices and EEO compliance. Additionally, she is an experienced EEO officer skilled in conducting investigations, resolution of employee relations matters, HR laws, and industry best practices.

In late 2020, Erica joined the New York Road Runners (NYRR) as the Senior Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She spearheads the organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy across all business units and levels of the organization. Under her leadership, she will direct NYRR’s cultural shift to a more inclusive environment that will extend to the community that it serves. As part of this role, she is leading the policies and practices to embed equity and belonging principles in the organizational DNA.

Previously, she held the position of Senior Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Social Responsibility for the New York City Economic Development Corporation. In that role, she oversaw the development of policies and programs to attract, retain, and foster a diverse and inclusive workforce. Erica has a long-standing commitment to diversity and public service. Her other professional experiences of diversity leadership include serving as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion and Senior Career Counselor at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, the Director of Legislative Advocacy Coalition at the Health & Welfare Council, and the Community Development Liaison at Americorp VISTA.

Erica received her B.A in Government from the College of William and Mary and her J.D. from Touro Law College.

She is a member of the Amistad Long Island Black Bar Association, National Association of Law Placement Professionals, The Metropolitan Black Bar Association, The National Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Diversity and Inclusion.

Previously, Angela was a USDOL, Office of Apprenticeship, recognized Apprenticeship Training Representative (ATR), and State Apprenticeship Agency (SAA), Registered Apprenticeship Program Coordinator with the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  Angela managed and oversaw Statewide Registered Apprenticeship Programs in multiple industries.  Her oversight significantly led to the expansion of Registered Apprenticeship programs within the state.

Angela received her Master's degree in Public Administration from Kentucky State University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky.  In addition, Angela is certified in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Dorea Mays is a life-long human resources practitioner with more than 30 years of professional experience serving in the hospitality, security, non-profit and retail industries. She is the Director of Human Resources at Rosen Hotels & Resorts, a seven-property hotel company with over 4,000 employees in Central Florida, as well as subsidiary business units including a medical center, technology company and insurance company, two preschools and a family fitness and aquatic center. In her current role, she oversees all human resource functions for a large team and leads the organization’s human resource strategy. She is an HR subject matter expert with a proven track record in employee relations, organizational development, compliance, transformational coaching and leadership development.

Prior to Rosen Hotels & Resorts, Dorea’s career included human resource roles in industries such as retail, car rental, security and non-profit. Known as a natural-born leader, Dorea is the current Vice President of the Hotel Human Resources Association of Orlando. She is an active member of the Greater Orlando Society for Human Resources Management. Dorea’s passion for community service has led to her current involvement in non-profit boards to include the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Orlando, Orange County Public Schools Compact, the Central Florida Disability Chamber, and the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.

Dorea is a proud alumna of the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Organizational Communication. She obtained her master’s in human resources from Rollins College and is a credentialed human resource professional and coach, to include SHRM’s Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), HRCI’s Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), iPEC Coaching’s Certified Professional Coach (CPC), and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP).
