Kristine is a strategic Human Resources Executive with expertise in providing world-class organizational support from within the entertainment and media industries. Her current role is the VP of Human Resources for Warner Brothers Studio Facilities in Burbank, CA. Prior to this, she was laid off from her role in the Music Industry as former head of North American Human Resources at EMI Music in New York. Kristine’s background includes organizational and change leadership, employee relations, process improvement, succession planning, and talent management. She is known for results-focused partnering with business leaders, creating high-performance teams that not only meet their goals but also value the people who make it all happen. Mrs. Muscara is a graduate of Boston University in Psychology and Special Education. She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, SHRM, and NHRA – Los Angeles.

Paolo Nagari is the CEO & Founder of InterCultural Group a corporate education consulting firm based in Charlotte NC. His focus is to provide organizations with the cross cultural training, coaching, and consulting programs they need to work and communicate effectively with people from other national cultures. He is the originator of the Intercultural Intelligence® Model and has been using it to successfully deliver solutions for global brands including: Electrolux, Georgetown University, and GE Healthcare. Educated in Italy, France and the United States, Paolo is presently writing a book on his model of Intercultural Intelligence®.

Nancy L. Newell, SPHR, is an independent management and human resources consultant based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.   During her 18 years of practical experience in Human Resources Management, she has focused on strategic compensation and benefits planning, recruitment and training, leadership development and executive coaching, employee relations and effective organizational design and communications.  She has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Miami University and completed her graduate studies at the University of Minnesota.  She is a SHRM Learning System© instructor with SHRM and the University of New Mexico’s Management Development Center.  A long-time member of the Society for Human Resource Management, she has served in volunteer leadership roles for the organization at the local, state and national level.

Cathy is a former educator, wellness/employee assistance coordinator, and Kansas City Chiefs NFL Cheerleader. Cathy engages audiences in an experiential way to laugh, explore and engage in content. Through her dynamic and interactive presentations, Cathy helps people take the risk to stretch themselves farther—handling change, performance improvement, wellness, or work/life balance with confidence. Cathy is the author of three books: RISK IT, It Takes Character, and Living in Full Swing.

Elaine Orler president and founder of Talent Function Group and chairman of the Talent Board, founding organization of the Candidate Experience Awards, has been involved in developing and implementing HR solutions since 1993. Well regarded as a leading industry expert, many companies have depended on her knowledge in talent management and recruitment strategy, process and technology to further their organizations. She has also worked with countless clients on dozens of global talent acquisition and management implementations, to help them embrace new technologies aimed at improving internal processes and the candidate experience, a topic on which she’s regularly quoted in Wall Street Journal. Jeffrey M. Othic is a Special Agent with Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations (ICE-HSI). Special Agent Othic started his law enforcement career in Clinton, Missouri, as a patrol officer in 1990. In 1994 Special Agent Othic entered on duty as a United States Border Patrol Agent in Douglas, Arizona. In 1996, Special Agent Othic came to St. Louis as an ICE-HSI Special Agent (formerly the Immigration & Naturalization Service).  Special Agent Othic is the ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers (IMAGE) program coordinator for the HSI St. Louis office. 

Lynn C. Outwater is a Shareholder in the Pittsburgh office of Jackson Lewis P.C. and is the National Coordinator of the Firm’s Management Education Practice Group. Ms. Outwater was also a founding partner of JL’s Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Cincinnati offices. The firm’s over 700 lawyers limit their practice exclusively to labor, employment, immigration and benefits law on behalf of management. She received her undergraduate degree from Fordham University and obtained a Juris Doctorate degree from Albany Law School and holds a Master of Laws (in Labor Law) from New York University School of Law. Ms. Outwater is a current member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and an inactive member of the New York Bar Association. Heather Owen is Board Certified in labor and employment law and has been representing employers in employment matters since 1993.  Her client counseling focuses on problem solving, litigation prevention, risk reduction and legal analysis of complex employment issues. When matters escalate to litigation, she has successfully defended employers in all areas of employment law, including claims under the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, wage and hour laws, the National Labor Relations Act, and various whistleblower and retaliation laws.  Heather is a frequent presenter to national and local organizations.  Heather received both her Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida.  She is AV® Peer Review Rated By Martindale-Hubbell, and has been listed several years in Florida Trends’ Legal Elite, and Super Lawyers, Corporate Counsel Edition.

Jeff Perkins is Chief People Officer at NPR. He has led the transformation of the human resources team from a more transactional approach to a business partner model, helped hire many of NPR's top executives and developed and implemented a new talent management strategy. Perkins was also instrumental in overseeing key aspects of NPR's 2013 move to the new state-of-the-art headquarters. Prior to NPR, Perkins worked at Huntbridge, Inc., a human resources consulting firm he founded. Throughout his career Perkins has worked in North America and Europe for several major media organizations. He served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Fox Interactive Media, a division of News Corporation. Prior to Fox, Perkins held several increasingly responsible positions at Time Warner, including Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Perkins managed significant changes and expansion throughout AOL's European business, including complex issues related to the Time Warner merger. Before Time Warner, Perkins led staffing in North America for AC Nielsen and later became Director of Human Resources for Nielsen International in Europe. Perkins holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wabash College and a Master of Science in Organization Development from the School of Public Administration at American University. He serves on the Wabash College Board of Trustees, and he has been an adjunct professor at American University. He is currently pursuing a dual degree Global Executive MBA in the Georgetown-ESADE program via McDonough School of Business.
