Nancy L. Newell, SPHR, is an independent management and human resources consultant based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.   During her 18 years of practical experience in Human Resources Management, she has focused on strategic compensation and benefits planning, recruitment and training, leadership development and executive coaching, employee relations and effective organizational design and communications.  She has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Miami University and completed her graduate studies at the University of Minnesota.  She is a SHRM Learning System© instructor with SHRM and the University of New Mexico’s Management Development Center.  A long-time member of the Society for Human Resource Management, she has served in volunteer leadership roles for the organization at the local, state and national level.

Jeffrey M. Othic is a Special Agent with Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations (ICE-HSI). Special Agent Othic started his law enforcement career in Clinton, Missouri, as a patrol officer in 1990. In 1994 Special Agent Othic entered on duty as a United States Border Patrol Agent in Douglas, Arizona. In 1996, Special Agent Othic came to St. Louis as an ICE-HSI Special Agent (formerly the Immigration & Naturalization Service).  Special Agent Othic is the ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers (IMAGE) program coordinator for the HSI St. Louis office.

Lynn C. Outwater is a Shareholder in the Pittsburgh office of Jackson Lewis P.C. and is the National Coordinator of the Firm’s Management Education Practice Group. Heather Owen is Board Certified in labor and employment law and has been representing employers in employment matters since 1993.  Her client counseling focuses on problem solving, litigation prevention, risk reduction and legal analysis of complex employment issues. Jeff Perkins is Chief People Officer at NPR. He has led the transformation of the human resources team from a more transactional approach to a business partner model, helped hire many of NPR's top executives and developed and implemented a new talent management strategy. Perkins was also instrumental in overseeing key aspects of NPR's 2013 move to the new state-of-the-art headquarters. Prior to NPR, Perkins worked at Huntbridge, Inc., a human resources consulting firm he founded. Throughout his career Perkins has worked in North America and Europe for several major media organizations. He served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Fox Interactive Media, a division of News Corporation. Prior to Fox, Perkins held several increasingly responsible positions at Time Warner, including Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Perkins managed significant changes and expansion throughout AOL's European business, including complex issues related to the Time Warner merger. Before Time Warner, Perkins led staffing in North America for AC Nielsen and later became Director of Human Resources for Nielsen International in Europe. Perkins holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wabash College and a Master of Science in Organization Development from the School of Public Administration at American University. He serves on the Wabash College Board of Trustees, and he has been an adjunct professor at American University. He is currently pursuing a dual degree Global Executive MBA in the Georgetown-ESADE program via McDonough School of Business.
