Michelle Pokorny is the Solution Vice President – Employee Engagement and Recognition for Maritz. She’s enjoyed nearly 12 years with Maritz, where her responsibilities have ranged from client program management, product and technology development to incentive, employee engagement and recognition solution management. In her current role, Michelle ensures Maritz has the tools, insight and resources to create impactful employee recognition experiences that connect employee and employer goals. Combined with her previous sales and marketing experience for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and what is now Verizon Wireless, Michelle is uniquely equipped to help translate client needs into people-based solutions across an extensive range of industries and applications. Michelle is a CRP (Certified Recognition Professional), is IMA (Incentive Marketing Association) certified in incentive design and holds a Masters degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University (whoop!) She is also active in the Maritz Institute, which serves as a bridge between the human sciences and Maritz’ solutions, helping to create better business for clients and better lives for the people they touch.

Joanna is a passionate entrepreneur and experienced technology executive with 10+ years of experience in senior product management & marketing roles at startups and technology companies in Seattle including Cequint, Inc., Medio Systems, Trumba, and Microsoft.  She has also served as an independent consultant helping various startups and larger companies with product development, marketing, and general business strategy initiatives.  She began her career working in the toy design division of IDEO Product Development and several other Bay Area startups.   Joanna holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an MS in Mechanical Engineering & BS in Product Design from Stanford University.

Joanna lives in Seattle with her husband and two young children.  She’s also an elite-level triathlete and five-time Ironman finisher, including the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii.

Dr. Don R. Powell is the President and CEO of the American Institute for Preventive Medicine located in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The Institute is a leading developer and provider of health management programs and self-care publications.

Dr. Powell is a licensed psychologist who earned his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. He also taught in the University's Psychology Department for eight years where he was nominated for the "Distinguished Teaching Award" and presently serves as a guest lecturer. Heather is an exercise physiologist and sport psychologist who transformed her passion for health into a national provider of worksite health and wellness solutions. Her leadership has shaped Provant's commitment to industry best practices in the form of regular accreditation with the National Committee for Quality Assurance, adherence to Six Sigma process management standards, and the development of customized wellness programs that reduce employee health risks and build cultures of health. Prior to Provant, Heather spent more than a decade in the health promotion and management industry. She was responsible for the operation of wellness centers in Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island and provided strategic development for wellness and rehabilitative services as a private consultant. Heather holds two Master of Science degrees in Exercise Physiology and Sport Psychology. Heather is Board Chairman of the Rhode Island chapter of the American Heart Association.

Jerold A. Ramos Sr., CPP, CFE is the Corporate Manager for Talent Acquisition/Corporate Military Liaison for AlliedBarton Security Services. AlliedBarton Security Services is a premier security services company, established in 1957 and currently has 58,000 employees. Jerold is a Navy Veteran, and has been in Human Resources/Talent Acquisition for the past 35 years. Jerold retired from his first career after 33 years in Public Law Enforcement recently, where he held the position of City Marshal.
